The course, originally an 18-hole course owned by the city of Lake St. Louis, was sold to U.S. Homes and eventually re-shaped into its current nine-hole, par-3 executive-style configuration. The intent was to offer additional home lots for residents to build on. This was done with a keen sensitivity to maintaining a buffer between golfers and residents. The results? More fellow residents and a great "executive nine" you can play in under two hours.

We have electric carts for rent, but Hawk Ridge is a great walking course.

We overseed and aerate twice a year with little to no interruption to your enjoyment of the course. Because we open 7 days a week in season from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m., we have ample time to keep the course in tip-top playing conditions without inconveniencing our players. We're open year-round- weather permitting. The course has great drainage and dries quickly, so even a typical Midwest downpour won't keep you off the course for long! The tee boxes and approaches do brown a little in fall and winter because they're zoysia grass, but it doesn't affect the play.
